Frequently asked questions

Does my file get uploaded?

No. The checker reads the file inside your browser and nothing is sent to us or anyone else. You can turn off your Wi-Fi after the page loads and it still works.

Which files can it check?

PowerPoint (.pptx) and Word (.docx) files. Older .ppt and .doc files need to be saved in the newer format first.

What does the score mean?

It starts at 100 and loses points for each AI tell: em dashes, icon names typed as text, emoji, phrases AI overuses, fonts set by hand, colors outside the theme and text shrunk to fit. 85 and up reads as on brand.

Does it know my brand?

Not yet. The free checker looks for patterns AI tools leave in any file. The Design Engine learns your actual brand from your templates and fixes the file onto it, with a full compile report.
